Chandler Gilbert CC (Ariz.)/Western Nebraska CC: Played two years of junior college baseball. At CGCC, he tallied a 1-1 record in 15 appearances with one start. He pitched 28.2 innings with 17 strikeouts.
Capital High School: Played for the Helena Senators where he was named Stanley Foot Award (Most Improved Player) in 2005 and earned the Ace Kindrick Award (Pitching) in 2006 and 2007.
